When do I get my deposit back?

The deposit will be refunded within 5 working days after your trip.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

You can reschedule to another date for free! However, please just let us know on forehand what your preferred new date is. If you’d like to cancel your reservation, you can do this up to 48 hours before your reservation with a cancellation fee of 25% of the total rental sum.

Are there any catering options?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any drinks or food. You are welcome to bring your own of course! We do ask you to take any garbage with you at the end of your trip when leaving our boat.

Can I play music on board?

Well, no. You can make acoustic music, but it is not allowed to bring an amplifier with you on board. You risk a fine from the water police and losing your deposit. Please note there are people living on the water of Amsterdam, so behave appropriate.

Can I bring my Pet?

Yes, you can. Just remind that you are responsible for the actions and damage caused by your animal friend. Also: do not forget to send us a picture of your Pet in our boat, those are our favorite pictures!

Can I rent multiple boats at the same time?

Certainly! Please contact us by sending an e-mail to: info@adamsboats.com or book multiple boats via our website.

Am I allowed to sail everywhere?

Almost everywhere, there are some waters in and around Amsterdam which you are not allowed to sail into. You can find these water on the sailing map of our location at the Mauritskade.

Can I rent a boat on Kingsday and other events?

Yes, you sure can! Please take a look at our special events page, where we gathered all the information about our rentals on these specials events in Amsterdam. Reserving a boat is easily done online.

What happens if I return the boat too late?

First, we ask you to please respect the times of your reservations, because your boat could be reserved for others. If for some reason, you lost track of time and already know you are going to be late we ask you to get in contact with us. In that case, we will settle the extra sailing time with your deposit for the regular rate of €60,- per hour, fined per 15 minutes.
